To District Board...

I wrote the following in my last board report--reports that every D-boardie had to write before every D-board meeting. For you new D-boardies--you'll get familiar w/ these reports very soon.

Chris – Thank you for motivating me to always believe and to endure even since I was president. I’m doing my best to do the same for you Gov. There have been a lot of times when you’ve literally picked my off of the floor by just saying some words of encouragement.

Alex – You always know me too well and it bugs the hell out of me. I’m glad I’ve always had you these past 4 years. We rose together: chairs → e-board → district board. Thanks for keeping me sane and allowing me to yell at you when I’m yelling about other people. More to say at banquet…

Alice – OMG! LOUD GIRLS! Forever. I love talking to you, no matter how personal, how heated, how loud, how inappropriate it gets. I always had such a great time with you every time you visited Nor-Cal! Sushi, Pon & Zi, lolcats, blizzardcon conversations… I’ll always remember that one night…

Amy - You’re always the best. Always supportive and there when I need you. A lot of people don’t know you on D-board the way Alex and I do. Thank you for always being hilarious and there’ll be a lot of tears at Spring Banquet. Count on it, I got a song to sing to you…

Christine – I’m going to show up to your apartment and keep you up all night talking about stuff hahahaha. I’m still amazed at how we have crazy Vegas connections. I’ll be in Reno on the 16th for the graduation so I have to see you! I’m so proud to have shared Northern Cal-Nev with you.

Horacio – Awww Horacio! Where have you been! I’m sure you’re super busy… All good, just know you’re always welcomed to stay at my apartment whenever you need hahahaha!

Danny – I’m so glad you came to visit for DLSSP-North! So many good bonding times and singing! Sorry for taking you to lecture only to see a bunny slaughtered (I don’t think either of us will forget :[ ). I’m so proud of everything you accomplished that weekend and this entire year. Great job.

Andi – I’m amazed at all the things you do and how you have so much passion for everything, especially the Kiwanis Family. Thank you for opening up your crazy house to us. You have the coolest Vietnamese understanding dog ever and we’ll always be the really angry, loud d-board girls.

Maria – I like how you always ask everyone for advice to improve your leadership style. Thank you for being so supportive. I swear, I feel like I don’t do much at times but you’re always like, “You’re so wise…” HAHAHAHA.

Tiffany – Hahaha, I like hearing you freak out online about all the stuff you need to do b/c you know you always do that. I’m glad you didn’t resign. Foothill doesn’t need that anymore. You’ve set the first example they’ve had in a long time for a strong leader and LTG.

E.T. – We will always be angry, loud, and competitive. Why the hell have we always held the same Circle K offices?!?! Thanks for always pumping us up to make fools of ourselves in front of Cal-Nev-Ha. Every board needs someone like you.

Ruben – I appreciate your unending light-heartedness and spirit. You’re always down to do anything and thanks for all of your divisional and district support.

Long – You’re such an open guy, which allows the rest of us to open up to you. I enjoy our short, random 4AM AIM chats and dang you for encouraging me to stay up all night because I did that one night. Thanks for the support, you’re so much fun, and I love cheering with you! Berkvine?!

Honyin – YOU MAKE ME LAUGH. Seriously, all the time. I swear some of the things that come out of your mouth are hilarious. Thanks for touring Golden Gate with me in September and then coming back to have long conversations in my living room when I should’ve studied for finals.

Monica – Many props for taking on the great challenge of FTC. I had such an amazing last FTC. The perfect way to end these 4 years, thanks! Good luck on Mission College! Yay for Golden Gate growth!

Gail – You developed me into the leader and person I am today. You helped me become expressive, caring, and showed me that it’s okay to wear your heart on your sleeve—smile, cry. Just let it all out. Thank you President Mom and LTG Mom. I wouldn’t have followed anyone but you.

Francis –You’re like my little brother! You’re so great! Maybe it was destiny that we have a future beyond our awkward high school meetings. I’m so glad we ever served on the same board together. I love your creativity and energy. You’re going to be an amazing president!

Richard – You’re so awkward but not the bad kind of awkward. You’re as enjoyable as the first day I met you sitting in that hall at ICON in Portland. I enjoy talking to you no matter how random. Thanks for always bringing up the Who Rocks this house cheer hahaha. DCON will be glorious!
